Package reference

Choose the Engram package needed for contracts, capture, providers, Studio, or command-line workflows.

Engram defines six synchronized npm packages.

@engramviz/core	Provider-neutral telemetry, turn contracts, schemas, and HTTP transport
@engramviz/sdk	Fail-open TypeScript turn and memory capture
@engramviz/adapter-mem0	Evidence-preserving wrapper for Mem0-like clients
@engramviz/adapter-langgraph	Evidence-preserving wrapper for LangGraph’s durable Store interface
@engramviz/studio	Prebuilt standalone local Studio runtime and visual assets
@engramviz/cli	Local setup, Studio launcher, import, diagnostics, and regression runner

All packages require Node.js 20 or newer and currently share version 0.2.0.

Typical application install

npm install @engramviz/sdk
npm install --save-dev @engramviz/cli

Add only the adapter that matches the application’s memory boundary:

npm install @engramviz/adapter-mem0
# or
npm install @engramviz/adapter-langgraph

The CLI installs the Studio runtime transitively. Most applications do not need to install @engramviz/core or @engramviz/studio directly.

Direct contract usage

Adapter and collector authors can import schemas and types from core:
